Soccer Game Preview: East Chapel Hill vs. Panther Creek

The East Chapel Hill Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Panther Creek Catamounts at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. East Chapel Hill will be strutting in after a victory while Panther Creek will be coming in after a loss.

East Chapel Hill made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Ravenscroft, but they still couldn't quite topple them. East Chapel Hill's defense stepped up to hand Ravenscroft a 3-0 shutout on Thursday. The game marked the Wildcats' most dominant win of the season so far.

They hit Ravenscroft with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Hazel Kaplan, Sara Ross Burns, and Isla Dansby.

Meanwhile, Panther Creek fell victim to Leesville Road and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Pride. The defeat continues a trend for the Catamounts in their meetings with the Pride: they've now lost five in a row.

Panther Creek's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for East Chapel Hill, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Everything went East Chapel Hill's way against Panther Creek in their previous meeting back in April of 2022, as East Chapel Hill made off with a 5-0 win. Will East Chapel Hill repeat their success, or does Panther Creek have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
