Soccer Game Preview: Rhea County vs. Walker Valley + How To Watch

The Rhea County Golden Eagles will take on the Walker Valley Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Rhea County comes in on three and Walker Valley on four.

Rhea County's defense heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They walked away with a 2-0 win over Cleveland. Rhea County's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three matches.

Meanwhile, Walker Valley sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Notre Dame on Thursday. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Walker Valley's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Tennessee soccer rankings (they are ranked 30th, while Notre Dame are ranked 92nd).

Bella Martinez and Keaton Davies scored all three of Walker Valley's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 17 goals.

Walker Valley's win bumped their record up to 11-1-2. As for Rhea County, their victory bumped their record up to 9-1-3.
