Football Game Preview: Prairie Heights Panthers vs. Fremont Eagles

The Prairie Heights Panthers will take on the Fremont Eagles at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Prairie Heights is looking for their season's first victory.

Prairie Heights is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Woodlan on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. The Panthers lost 30-6 to the Warriors. The Panthers were down 23-0 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Meanwhile, Fremont entered their contest against Eastside on Friday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Eagles were outmatched by the Blazers and fell 42-13. The Eagles were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-7.

Fremont's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Prairie Heights, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.

Prairie Heights was able to grind out a solid win over Fremont in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, winning 14-7. Do the Panthers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Eagles turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
