Basketball Recap: Max Simpson's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Timberlake over Lakeland + How To Watch

After flying high against Priest River on Monday, Timberlake came back down to earth. The Tigers fell 50-41 to the Lakeland Hawks on Wednesday. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Hawks recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Timberlake lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Max Simpson, who posted 13 points. Another player making a difference was Brant Rush, who had 12 points.

Timberlake's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Timberlake will welcome Wallace at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lakeland, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Bonners Ferry at 7:00 p.m.
