Recap: Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons vs. Seekonk Warriors
The Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons lost to the Seekonk Warriors back in February of 2023, but the Dighton-Rehoboth Regional Falcons didn't allow the Seekonk Warriors the same satisfaction on Friday. Dighton-Rehoboth Regional walked away with a 57-47 win over Seekonk. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Dighton-Rehoboth Regional.
Despite the loss, Seekonk still got an impressive performance from Johnny Payne, who scored 15 points. Travis Pereira was another key contributor, scoring two points along with seven rebounds and five assists.
Dighton-Rehoboth Regional's win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-8. As for Seekonk, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
Dighton-Rehoboth Regional will head out on the road to take on Old Rochester Regional at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Old Rochester Regional presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Dighton-Rehoboth Regional in Massachusetts (Old Rochester Regional is ranked 50th, while Dighton-Rehoboth Regional is ranked 137th). As for Seekonk, they will be playing in front of their home fans against West Bridgewater at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
