Softball Recap: Truman Comes Up Short

Truman was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Walton Wildcats, falling 22-9. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-2 on April 1st.

Truman's loss dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Walton, they pushed their record up to 9-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Truman wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 27-4 defeat against Explorations Academy on the 30th. Walton has also already played their next game (against Taft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
