Basketball Game Preview: Union Knights/Damsels vs. Neshannock Lancers

The Union Knights/Damsels will take on the Neshannock Lancers on Monday. Both teams are coming into the matchup red-hot, with Union sitting on four straight wins and Neshannock on nine.

Union is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They skirted past Greensburg Central Catholic 44-42. The victory was all the more spectacular given the Knights/Damsels' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 488th, while the Centurions are ranked 104th).

Meanwhile, Neshannock beat Northgate 72-64 on Thursday.

Neshannock's win bumped their record up to 21-2. As for Union, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Union came out on top in a nail-biter against Neshannock in their previous meeting back in December of 2019, sneaking past 52-49. Does Union have another victory up their sleeve, or will Neshannock turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
