Colony faced West Valley in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Knights walked away with a 10-7 win over the Wolf Pack. The victory was familiar territory for the Knights, who have now won three games in a row.

Hayden Sherman was incredible, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. Those four RBI gave him a new career-high. Boman Marks was another key player, going 2-for-5 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

Colony now has a winning record of 4-3. As for West Valley, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Colony will venture away from home to take on Houston at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Knights will need to watch out since the Hawks have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches. As for West Valley, they are taking a road trip to face off against Wasilla at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Wolf Pack's pitchers better be ready for this one: the Warriors have averaged an impressive 8.6 runs per game this season.
