Soccer Recap: Holy Cross Takes a Loss

Holy Cross came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 5-0 to the Holy Redeemer Royals. While losing is never fun, Holy Cross can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania soccer rankings (they are ranked 374th, while Holy Redeemer are ranked 172nd).

Holy Cross' loss dropped their record down to 11-6-2. As for Holy Redeemer, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-8 record this season.

As of now, neither Holy Cross nor Holy Redeemer have any future games scheduled.
