Football Recap: Loveland Falls to Pueblo West in First Game of Season + How To Watch

Loveland unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They took a 17-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pueblo West Cyclones on Friday. The Red Wolves lost against the Cyclones in their previous head to head back in August of 2024, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 42-0 score last time.

Zach Duran had a dynamite game For Pueblo West., rushing for 148 yards and one touchdown. Those 148 rushing yards gave Duran a new career-high.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Loveland will host Fossil Ridge at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pueblo West, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Pueblo County at 7:00 p.m.
