Sale Creek piles up the points against Grace Baptist Academy

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Rhea County, the Sale Creek Panthers were happy to have found some success on Tuesday. Couldn't have asked for a better start to 2024 than the 57-26 blowout they got at home against Grace Baptist Academy. That looming 57-26 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for Sale Creek yet this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sale Creek to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jackson Moore, who scored 13 points along with nine assists and three steals. Moore is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Khari Escobar, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Sale Creek has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Grace Baptist Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Sale Creek has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Sequatchie County at 6:30 p.m. on January 9th. Grace Baptist Academy is on the road again on Thursday and play against Boyd-Buchanan at 6:00 p.m. on January 4th. Boyd-Buchanan is coming into the game hot, having won their last six games.
