It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Johnstown-Monroe ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Fredericktown Freddies 6-5. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Johnnies also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Braeden Archibald made a splash while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he tossed three innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits.
