Lodi is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Wednesday. They walked away with a 61-48 win over Merced. Given the Flames' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 110th, while the Bears are ranked 226th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Jesuit's strategy against Golden Valley on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Jesuit blew Golden Valley out of the water with a 77-28 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 39-16.

Jesuit is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.6 points over those games. As for Lodi, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-8.
