Upsala had won five straight games and Jack Primus did his part to make it six on Tuesday. The Upsala Cardinals blew past the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Thunder 82-35 thanks in part to Primus, who almost dropped a double-double with 32 points and nine steals. The game was his seventh in a row with at least 18 points.

The team also got some help courtesy of Samuel Laliberte, who posted eight points along with six assists and three steals. That's the most assists he has posted since back in March of 2024.

Upsala pushed their record up to 17-5 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.7 points over those games. As for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-22.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Upsala will host Osakis at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Long Prairie-Grey Eagle, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Pillager at 7:15 p.m.
