Soccer Game Preview: Tehachapi vs. Golden Valley

The Tehachapi Warriors will venture away from home to challenge the Golden Valley Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.

Last Friday, Tehachapi didn't have quite enough to beat West and fell 2-1.

Meanwhile, Golden Valley hasn't lost a match since January 3rd, a trend which continued in their latest game on Friday. Their defense stepped up to hand Arvin a 3-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won seven matches by three goals or more so far this season.

Golden Valley's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-5-4. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 13 goals over those four games. As for Tehachapi, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-12-5 record this season.

Tehachapi might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Golden Valley in their previous matchup back in January. Can Tehachapi avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
