Baseball Recap: Bethlehem Central Eagles vs. Guilderland Flying Dutchmen
The home team had come away the winner the last five times Bethlehem Central and Guilderland had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Eagles fell just short of the Flying Dutchmen by a score of 4-3 on Thursday. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Flying Dutchmen apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.
Bethlehem Central got a good showing from Nolan Devejian, who struck out seven batters over four innings while giving up just two earned runs off four hits (and only one walk).
