After a string of six wins, Alhambra's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They fell 7-4 to the Cathedral Prep Ramblers.

Alhambra's defeat dropped their record down to 11-4. As for Cathedral Prep, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Alhambra will head out to take on Carl Hayden Community at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.5 runs per game this season, so the Lions' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Cathedral Prep, they will be taking part in a tournament against ALA - West Foothills at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Ramblers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Guardians have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
