Sleepy Hollow has gone a perfect 5-0 against Gorton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Horsemen will square off against the Wolves at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Sleepy Hollow has four straight wins, Gorton has eight straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Sleepy Hollow's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Saturday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Roosevelt 2-0.

Gorton couldn't beat Saunders Trades & Tech on Monday even though they stacked ten runs on them in the fifth inning. The Wolves took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Blue Devils.

Aaron Hernandez made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and got on base in all four of his plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Julius Vargas, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, one run, and one double.

Sleepy Hollow pushed their record up to 11-7 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Gorton, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-9-2.

Everything went Sleepy Hollow's way against Gorton in their previous meeting two weeks ago, as Sleepy Hollow made off with a 13-0 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Horsemen since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
