Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Addison Theis and Bella Recker Lead Osceola to Victory

Osceola won the last time they faced East Butler and things went their way on Saturday too. The Osceola Bulldogs secured a 42-37 W over the East Butler Tigers.

Osceola was led to victory by Bella Recker and Addison Theis. Recker dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten boards, while Theis posted 19 points. Recker is also crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season.

East Butler's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morgan Havlovic, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 12 boards. Margret Pekarek was another key player, putting up nine points and seven rebounds.

Osceola now has a winning record of 2-1. As for East Butler, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Osceola will take on Dorchester in a holiday battle at at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for East Butler, they will welcome Hampton at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
