Volleyball Game Preview: Lakewood Lancers vs. Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits

Lakewood is 0-9 against Long Beach Poly since April of 2021 but things could change on Thursday. The Lancers will welcome the Jackrabbits at 5:30 p.m.

Lakewood is headed into Thursday's game looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of California.

Lakewood was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made California work for it, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 27-25, 25-16.

Long Beach Poly not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since April 1st. They blew past Woodrow Wilson 3-0. The Jackrabbits haven't had any issues with the Bruins recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-21, 25-17.

Long Beach Poly's win bumped their record up to 29-8. As for Lakewood, their loss dropped their record down to 6-14.
