Northwestern entered their tilt with Fall Creek on Thursday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Crickets by a score of 2-0. The Tigers were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Crickets, so the Tigers were just returning the favor.

Shelby Hessel paced Northwestern's offense, picking up nine kills. Hessel got some help from Emma Dahl and her 11 assists. Genna Kreuser controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Northwestern's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Fall Creek, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Northwestern and Superior will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Fall Creek, they will take on Three Lakes in a tournament on Saturday.
