Baseball Recap: Leicester Comes Up Short

Leicester was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost 13-3 to the Millbury Woolies. That's two games in a row now that the Wolverines have lost by exactly ten runs.

Leicester's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Millbury, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Coming up, Leicester will be playing at home against Southbridge at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pioneers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed eight runs per game on average), something the Wolverines will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Millbury, they will venture away from home to square off against Westborough at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
