Washburn Rural is 9-1 against Seaman since May of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Blues will host the Vikings at 4:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Washburn Rural's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed back in April. They were the clear victors by a 13-0 margin over Emporia. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Blues.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last matchup, Seaman made sure to put some runs up on the board against Manhattan on Wednesday. The Vikings blew past the Indians 16-0. Considering the Vikings have won ten contests by more than six runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Aubrey Warren was incredible, firing off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 2-for-2. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Kayleigh Neil was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.

Seaman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Washburn Rural, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.
