Soccer Recap: Incline Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with South Tahoe

Incline is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of South Tahoe. The Highlanders lost 4-1 to the Vikings. The contest was up for grabs at halftime, but sadly Incline struggled afterwards.

Incline's defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 7-2-2. As for South Tahoe, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-2-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Incline is set to challenge their familiar foe Truckee at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, South Tahoe will take on rival North Tahoe at 4:00 p.m. on October 7.
