Volleyball Recap: Monticello Takes a Loss

Monticello was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Parkview Vikings. If the Ponies were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Vikings when the teams met back in October of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-16.

Monticello's defeat dropped their record down to 1-10. As for Parkview, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-13.

Monticello didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Boscobel on the 27th. As for Parkview, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Fennimore on the 27th.
