Basketball Recap: North Olmsted Finds Home Court Redemption Against Maple Heights

There's no place like home for North Olmsted, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They strolled past the Maple Heights Mustangs with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 40-21.

North Olmsted can attribute much of their success to Katie Strong, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 10 points and five rebounds. What's more, Strong also posted a 71% field goal percentage, which is the highest she's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Morgan Outrich, who posted six points and four steals.

North Olmsted's win bumped their record up to 8-15. As for Maple Heights, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.

North Olmsted has already played their next matchup, a 65-15 loss against Archbishop Hoban on the 19th. Maple Heights does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
