Baseball Game Preview: Hughson Huskies vs. Ripon Christian Knights

The Hughson Huskies will challenge the Ripon Christian Knights at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Hughson will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.

Hughson's pitching crew heads into the matchup hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Ripon Christian with a sharp 15-0 win. The result was nothing new for the Huskies, who have now won four games by six runs or more so far this season.

Max Mankins made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. What's more, he gave up only three hits, the fewest he's had since back in May of 2024. He was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one RBI.
