Football Recap: Sam Barringer's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Sweet Home over Crescent Valley + How To Watch

The Sweet Home Huskies didn't have quite enough to beat the Crescent Valley Raiders on Friday and fell 24-21. The Huskies have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Sweet Home lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Sam Barringer, who rushed for 77 yards and one score.

Crescent Valley's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sterling Holland led the charge by picking up 87 receiving yards and a pair of TDs. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Williams, who threw for 245 yards and three touchdowns.

Sweet Home's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Crescent Valley, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-3 record this season.
