If Polo wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Wellington-Napoleon, they should've done a better job of containing Ayden Ellensohn. The Wellington-Napoleon Tigers blew past the Polo Panthers 51-23 on Thursday thanks in part to Ellensohn, who went 9-for-14 on her way to 21 points in addition to six rebounds and four steals. Those 21 points gave her a new career-high.

Wellington-Napoleon's win bumped their record up to 4-18. As for Polo, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Wellington-Napoleon didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 43-25 victory against Orrick on the 14th. As for Polo, they will square off against Lathrop at 6:00 p.m. on February 20th.
