Sickles has gone 9-1 against Steinbrenner recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Sickles Gryphons will head out to face off against the Steinbrenner Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Sickles is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

Sickles barely beat Leto the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. Sickles never let Leto get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Gryphons in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now won eight in a row.

Jaden Nazar was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of Ben Durda, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Steinbrenner posted their closest victory since April 23, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past Robinson 5-3.

Steinbrenner's win was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Ty Ciccarello, who scored a run while going 2-for-2. That run was Ciccarello's first of the season.

Sickles pushed their record up to 5-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.3 runs on average over those games. As for Steinbrenner, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Sickles took their win against Steinbrenner in their previous meeting back in February of 2024 by a conclusive 8-1. Will Sickles repeat their success, or does Steinbrenner have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
