Football Game Preview: Tuscaloosa Christian vs. Hope Christian

On Friday Hope Christian take on Tuscaloosa Christian at 7:00 PM. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

After a disappointing zero points in their last match, Hope Christian made sure to put some points up on the board against Lyman Ward Military Academy last Friday. Hope Christian made easy work of Lyman Ward Military Academy and carried off a 50-26 win. No one put up better numbers for Hope Christian than senior Jackson Davis, who brought his A game into the match. He rushed for 147 yards and 3 touchdowns. In fact, with 23 tackles Davis was a force on both sides of the ball.

Meanwhile, don't be fooled by the insanely high score: we promise Tuscaloosa Christian and North River Christian were playing football. Tuscaloosa Christian blew past North River Christian 69-48. Tuscaloosa Christian were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.

Their wins bumped Tuscaloosa Christian to 2-5 and Hope Christian to 4-4. After the lofty point totals in their previous games, we'll see if they're able to heat things up even more while facing each other.
