Volleyball Recap: Shelbyville Now 4-1 over Last Five Games

Shelbyville won the last time they faced Pawnee and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Rams came out on top against the Indians by a score of 2-0.

Shelbyville never let Pawnee on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-23.

Kylee McDonald paced Shelbyville's offense, picking up ten kills. McDonald got some help from Ava Corley and her 17 assists. Finally, Kenzie Jones kept Shelbyville's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

Shelbyville is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Pawnee, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 12-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shelbyville will host Central A & M at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pawnee, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Edinburg at 7:00 p.m.
