Volleyball Recap: Westminster Christian Academy's Undefeated Season over After Three Games + How To Watch

Westminster Christian Academy lost against Buckhorn back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell 3-1 to the Bucks. The loss put an end to the Wildcats' undefeated start to the season.

While Westminster Christian Academy ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 23-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Buckhorn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chloe Brewington led the charge by getting 12 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Brewington has posted over her last six games. Jordan Stone was another key player, getting 13 digs.

Having lost for the first time this season, Westminster Christian Academy fell to 2-1. As for Buckhorn, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westminster Christian Academy will challenge Gulf Shores at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Buckhorn, they will take on Central at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
