It was fun while it lasted, but Tioga's undefeated season came to an end after 13 games on Monday. They fell 62-55 to Kenmare/Bowbells. The loss was just more heartbreak for the Pirates who fell 49-47 when the teams previously met back in January of 2024.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tioga fell to 13-1. As for Kenmare/Bowbells, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Tioga will challenge Ray at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Tioga knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 14 contests -- so hopefully Ray likes a good challenge. As for Kenmare/Bowbells, they will host Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton] at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kenmare/Bowbells is on a three-game streak of home wins, Bowman County co-op [Bowman/Scranton] a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
