Softball Recap: Valley Center's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak on the Road

After losing to Arkansas City the last time they met, Valley Center decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Hornets came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bulldogs on Thursday, sneaking past 3-1. The game was the first time the Hornets have beaten the Bulldogs on their field since April 30, 2024.

Valley Center's win ended a four-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 9-7. As for Arkansas City, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.

Valley Center wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 6-0 victory against Circle on the 19th. As for Arkansas City, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Maize South on May 6.
