Volleyball Recap: Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests vs. Smith Jewish Day School Lions
After flying high against McLean on Monday, Sandy Spring Friends came back down to earth. The Wildebeests took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Smith Jewish Day School Lions on Tuesday. The Wildebeests haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.
The final score came out to 25-10, 25-15, 23-25, 25-15.
Sandy Spring Friends now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Smith Jewish Day School, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
Coincidentally, Sandy Spring Friends and Smith Jewish Day School will both be playing Washington International the next time they take the court. The Wildebeests will host the Red Devils at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
