Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask East Feliciana). They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Northeast Vikings on Wednesday, sneaking past 15-14. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Tigers have posted since April 3, 2024.

Ke'Marion Matthews was a standout: he scored three runs and stole six bases while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. Those six stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Braylan Spears, who scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

East Feliciana always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .619. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

East Feliciana's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-14. As for Northeast, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 4-11-1.

East Feliciana will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Vikings: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday.
