They took a serious blow against Heritage Christian on Thursday, falling 78-28. Front Range Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-8.
Like Front Range Christian, they lost despite seeing results from several players. Ethan Martin led the charge by scoring four points. Another player making a difference was Haedan Morton, who scored four points along with seven rebounds.
Union Colony Prep's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Front Range Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-8.
This contest is one where the number of possessions is likely to be a big factor: Union Colony Prep have been smashing the glass this season, having only averaged 21.4 rebounds per game. It's a different story for Front Range Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 25.1 rebounds per game. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
