            The Cardinal Newman Crusaders will head out to  face off against the Taravella Trojans  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. Cardinal Newman will be coming into the  match with an undefeated record on the line.
Cardinal Newman's pitching crew heads into the  game  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Jensen Beach with a sharp  7-0 victory.

 Blake Anderson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  didn't allow a single  earned run and  allowed only two  hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. Meanwhile, Taravella entered their  matchup against West Broward  on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. Taravella took  a  6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of West Broward.
 Taravella saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Jeremiah McFarlane, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Cardinal Newman's win was  their eighth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 12-0-1. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Taravella, their loss dropped their record down to 7-3.
