Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Frontier). They put the hurt on the South Newton Rebels with a sharp 19-6 victory on Thursday. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won nine matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Frontier, bringing their record up to 15-4. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.2 runs over those games. As for South Newton, their loss was their 22nd straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-19.

Coincidentally, Frontier and South Newton will both be playing Rensselaer Central the next time they take the field. The Falcons will host the Bombers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Rebels will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
