Volleyball Recap: Phoenix Christian Takes a Loss

Phoenix Christian lost against Camp Verde back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cougars took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cowboys. The Cougars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-4, 25-9, 22-25, 25-11.

Phoenix Christian's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Camp Verde, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Phoenix Christian will challenge rival Madison Highland Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Camp Verde is set to square off against their familiar foe Scottsdale Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
