Basketball Recap: Christian Academy Triumphs

Christian Academy won the last time they faced Aynor and Ayden Leith did his part to make sure it happened again. The Saints blew past the Blue Jackets 54-30 on Wednesday with plenty of help from Leith, who dropped a double-double with 21 points and 11 boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least a third of Christian Academy's points.

Solomon Kercheval was another key player, putting up nine points and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 67% in the last three games he's played dating back to last season.

The victory got Christian Academy back to even at 2-2. As for Aynor, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Coming up, Christian Academy will welcome St. John's Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Aynor, they will head out on the road to take on Green Sea Floyds at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. The Blue Jackets will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
