Softball Recap: Eastern Randolph Comes Up Short

Eastern Randolph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Randleman Tigers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 8-3 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2024.

Eastern Randolph's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Randleman, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Eastern Randolph will face off against Wheatmore at 6:00 p.m. on March 18th. As for Randleman, they will take on Montgomery Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Randleman is on a three-game streak of home wins, Montgomery Central a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field.
