Poteet is a perfect 9-0 against North Mesquite since August of 2015 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Pirates will challenge the Stallions at 11:00 a.m. Poteet will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

On Friday, Poteet made easy work of Seagoville and carried off a 3-0 victory.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-10, 25-13.

Meanwhile, North Mesquite came up short against Wilson on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Stallions have struggled against the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

North Mesquite's loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Poteet, their win bumped their record up to 28-11.

Poteet took their victory against North Mesquite in their previous meeting back in September by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Pirates since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
