Soccer Recap: Jacksonville Comes Up Short

Jacksonville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Vilonia Eagles. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Jacksonville of the 5-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Jacksonville's defeat dropped their record down to 0-8. As for Vilonia, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Coming up, Jacksonville is taking a road trip to square off against Parkview at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Jacksonville are facing Parkview at the right time seeing as Parkview are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Vilonia, they will be playing at home against Beebe at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
