Volleyball Recap: Calvary Chapel's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Calvary Chapel lost against California Lutheran back in September of 2021, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Grizzlies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the C-Hawks. The loss put an end to the Grizzlies' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Calvary Chapel fell to 2-1. As for California Lutheran, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Coming up, Calvary Chapel will take on Rosemead at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for California Lutheran, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Santa Rosa Academy on the 30th.
