Waltonville is a perfect 3-0 against Wayne City since April of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Spartans will take on the Indians in a tournament on Wednesday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.

Waltonville is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past Cisne 27-1 on Tuesday. Considering the Spartans have won seven matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, after only one run in their last game, Wayne City made sure to put some runs up on the board against Grayville on Tuesday. The Indians put the hurt on the Bison with a sharp 15-1 win. That looming 15-1 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Indians yet this season.

Waltonville pushed their record up to 17-6 with the victory, which was their eighth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.3 runs over those games. As for Wayne City, their victory ended an eight-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 4-7.
