Soccer Recap: Rio Hondo Comes Up Short

Rio Hondo lost against Port Isabel back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rio Hondo Bobcats fell 3-1 to the Port Isabel Tarpons. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Rio Hondo's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Port Isabel, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a massive bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Rio Hondo and Port Isabel will both be playing La Feria the next time they take the pitch. Port Isabel will host La Feria at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Rio Hondo will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 28th.
