Volleyball Recap: Chicopee Comes Up Short

Chicopee lost against Westfield back in November of 2017 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Pacers fell just short of the Bombers by a score of 3-2. The Pacers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Chicopee wouldn't go down easily and took Westfield into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking two-point loss. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 23-25, 17-25, 25-17, 17-15.

Chicopee's record now sits at 4-11. As for Westfield, they moved to 5-10 with that win, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chicopee will take on Easthampton/Hampshire at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Westfield, they will face off against Longmeadow at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
