Softball Recap: Keshequa Beats York for Their Third Straight Victory

Keshequa had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the six-run drubbing they dealt York on Friday. The Indians blew past the Golden Knights 11-5. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won five matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Keshequa's third in a row) raised their record to 10-2. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 4.0 runs on average over those games. As for York, their loss dropped their record down to 7-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Keshequa will host Hornell at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for York, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Kendall at 5:00 p.m.
